Laura Linney

Laura Linney, born February 5, 1964 in New York in the U.S.A. She is an American actress well-known for portraying powerful, but fragile character. Linney was raised in a theatre family, her father Romulus Linney as a playwright. In 1986, she received her degree in the class of 1986 from Brown University. She then trained in the Theatre Arts program at Arts Theatre School Moscow before getting her degree from Juilliard School with a M.F.A. which was located in New York City in 1990. Her first appearance was on Broadway eventually earning praise for her roles of Six Degrees of Separation and Hedda Gabler.
