Arianna Huffington

Arianna Stassinopoulos Huffington is a Greek American author syndicated columnist and businesswoman. She's co-founder and CEO of Thrive Global, as well as the author of 15 books. Arianna Huffington is a journalist, writer, journalist, TV host, and owner of The Huffington Post. Born in Greece and relocated to England at age sixteen. In Cambridge University, she graduated with a MA in economics. The famous debating society The Cambridge Union was her first time as president, and she held it when she was 21. After her graduation, she became a well-known conservative syndicated journalist. In the years later she created The Huffington Post which featured critical commentary on the current political landscape. Her fame has helped attract a number of famous contributors. Arianna gained notoriety in 2003 when she ran as an independent in the California recall election to succeed Governor Davis. Additionally, she was involved in a Detroit-based project that promoted cars that are fuel efficient. Forbes named her one of the "most powerful female" within the field of media with her ranking at the 12th spot. Guardian placed her on their list of 100 top media personalities in 2009. In 2011, AOL Inc. bought The Huffington Post and made her president of that media group which included many existing AOL properties too such as Engadget AOL music Style list and Patch Media. The parents of her were Elli and Konstantinos Stasinopoulos. They were an expert in management and a journalist. They were very close to her father. However, it was her bond with her mother who formed her. As a child she demonstrated leadership skills which she is still renowned for. At the age of 16, she moved to Britain to pursue her studies and was enrolled in Girton College Cambridge. In college, she was a member of the Cambridge Union, a college debate group. Being the third woman president, and also the first foreigner she served as the head of Cambridge Union. In 1972, she graduated with an MA in Economics. Following her graduation, she was employed as a columnist critic, and an anchor on TV. Also, she appeared on an edition of Face the music along with Bernard Levin and began writing books, utilizing editorial guidance from Bernard Levin.
