KingBennett was signed to Durk's label Only the Family after his performances with. After adopting his stage name of King Von in order to create his first music career, his debut single "Crazy Story," came out in December the year 2018. The track reached 81 on the Hot 100 chart on Billboard and 32 on the Hot Hip-Hop/R&B Songs charts. The track also received millions of YouTube views. Von was also the first to release "Crazy Story 2.0", the sequel to his hit song. This new version features Lil Durk and is a remake of the initial. It was released in September. Crazy Story 3.0 was made available as a sequel/remix.
