Amal Clooney

Amal Clooney was birthed in Beirut. Her name comes an'ml' and 'amal' Arabic which means "hope". It was just two years old when her family moved from Lebanon to Buckinghamshire from Lebanon during the Lebanese Civil War. Ramzi Alamuddin received his MBA from the American University of Beirut. Ramzi Alamuddin was a Lebanese Druze born in Baakline village which is part of the Alam al-Din Dynasty of Chouf District. Following the end of the civil war in 1991, [12]13], he returned to Lebanon. Her mother, Baria (nee Miknass), was born to a family of Sunni Muslims in Tripoli in Northern Lebanon,[14][11] and a Palestinian-Jordanian[15] mother. Her title was foreign editor for al-Hayat an Arabic-language newspaper published by Saudi Arabia. She was also the creator of International Communication Experts.
